When did you believe in yourself the most?
When I started FERN. alongside my partner in life, Kia. It was something new and super inspiring – a place where we could (and still can) make all our ideas come alive.

Which Matinique item in your wardrobe holds a special story - and why?
My black denim jacket. I think I’ve had it for 10 years. And it is still in my wardrobe. It has been traveling with me around the world.

How can clothing express your personality?
Clothes reflect who I am and how I feel at the moment. Especially I think clothing reflects if you are grounded and believe in your self. During the years I’ve become more grounded and comfortable with who I am. Now I only care about what I actually want to wear because I am me and what I feel comfortable in. Not what other people and fashion think I should wear.

What do you dream of?
I mostly dream about flying, pink elephants.
